We began with informational meetings with our client to better understand the desired project workflow and data model. By beginning this project with a deep dive into the industry and problem at hand, we were able to anticipate the needs of our clients and deliver software solutions that went above and beyond their expectations.
A main problem in current patient placement is a lack of appropriate facility beds, that which would accommodate all the patient's co-morbidities. There is no current standardized method of tracking & finding placement of patients.
We began by getting to know the industry -- understanding how patient placement currently works and common obstacles healthcare facilities, emergency responders, and social workers face.
Our team compiled a database of all healthcare facilities in the state, including their capacity, capabilities, resources, and other pertinent logistical information. We then created PBM, in Turanto, which enabled users to search for facility beds for patients experiencing mental health crises, and ensure that all resulting facilities could appropriately care for all aspects of the patients health, both mental and physical.
We predicted that our clients and their stakeholders would benefit from a mobile PBM application, and we delivered just that. All web-app capabilities are reflected in the mobile app, allowing emergency responders and social workers to access our database and all of PBM's features on-scene and in the palm of their hand.
To increase user engagement & market impact, we created a marketing website for the application. Following industry standard marketing principles, we developed messaging and positioning to effectively engage our target market.
